Smith update

So sorry its been so long since I posted. Its been a crazy month.
The end of April, we told everyone that we are moving to Dallas. Rick excepted a job in Dallas in March. We put our house on the market the weekend after Madison's birthday. We actually got an offer 3 days after we put it on the market. It was great to sell the house so fast, but scary that things were suddenly moving very fast. So we put in our 2 weeks at work. Our last days were May 8th. May 9th we loaded Sadie and Madison in the car and drove to Wichita. May 10th Rick and I left for a week's vacation in Mexico. It was a trip we had had planned for several months. We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a great time sitting by the pool all day. It was very relaxing and just what we needed. When we got back to Wichita we took Madison and my mom back to KC with us for our last week at home. We had a week to go through all our stuff, decided what we needed temporarily and get rid of what we didn't need at all. My mom took Madison back to Wichita Tuesday night so we could get some things done. Then the movers came Friday to pack us and Saturday to load us. Sunday we came back to Wichita and spent a couple of days with Madison. Then Wednesday afternoon RIck and I loaded up the Jetta with Rick's stuff and set off for Dallas. We got him settled in the extended stay hotel. Thursday and Friday we spent looking for houses. Unfortunately we didn't find the one. Saturday we played and explored Dallas. Then Sunday I drove my rental car back to Wichita. So that is where we are at. Madison, Sadie and I in Wichita with my parents. Rick in Dallas (he started work today!). So hopefully a wonderful house will come on the market in Dallas very soon. Think good thoughts for us!!
