daddy's darling

Friday morning before it got really cold, Madison and I took Sadie for a walk and then we played outside. Maddie loves to sit in chairs now. She thinks they are all rocking chairs like the little one she got for Christmas. So she tries to make everything rock. But she loves climbing in any and all chairs.

So I picked Madison up from school last week and she had this ponytail in her hair! It is the funniest thing I've ever seen so I had to get a picture. We met Rick out for dinner at the Blue Moose and Maddie kept the ponytail in the whole time. Too cute!

We tried to find Madison a championship shirt, but no such luck. So we went with the classic "beak em" shirt. Madison also picked out the Kansas Jayhawks shirt that has Elmo on it. Not sure how they go together, but she really liked it.

Maddie has decided that she wants to feed herself with fer spoon sometimes. So we give her one too and she makes most of it in her mouth. But not all as you can see.

Here is a picture of the Post kids with Madison. Ashley, Spencer and I have been told that we look like triplets, I'm not sure about that, but Madison definitely looks like a Post.

madison turns 1 years old!

Saturday was Madison's 1st birthday! I can't believe is already been a year. We had lots of family and friends there to celebrate. Luckily we had a beautiful day we weren't all crammed in the small house. Madison did really well. She loved walking around and seeing everyone. She liked her cake after a little encouragement, but mostly just ate the frosting. Thanks to everyone who came. It was a great time! (PS Sorry it took me so long to post this. I've been a little busy watching KU win a national championship!!!! Go Jayhawks!!!!)

Saturday morning we were getting ready for the party. Rick brought home the balloons and Madison thought she was in heaven. She loved chasing them.

Friday afternoon Grandma and Grandpa showed up. It was a beautiful afternoon so we were hanging out outside. Madison had on the Minnnie outfit that G&G and bought for her at DisneyLand.

Madison found a water bottle I had brought home from work this weekend. I'm pretty sure she thinks its like her bottle. She loves to walk around and drink out of it. Only problem is when she drops it or tilts it and water comes streaming out.

Connor's turns 1!

So Rick's only assignment at the birthday party was to take pictures. I even asked if I should take the small camera so I could take some. He said he could handle it, but apparently not. He was too distracted by the chit chat. So no good pics from the party. Sorry Connor, but Happy Birthday!
