ghosts and goblins

Well maybe not goblins, but cute kids in Halloween costumes...

Madison, Conner, Campbell and Cole. Conner is not too happy. We think he was a little hot in his bee costume.

Cole, Meredith and Maddie. Daycare pals.

Maddie is such a model

Madison's new coat that Grandma Diane bought her. It is super soft. Its a little too big right now, but it has room to grow!

Madison's new favorite toy. She squeals when she is in it!

loose park

Yesterday we went to Loose Park and had our friend Angela take pictures of Madison and then the whole family. Madison did really well. She smiled in a lot of the pics. I can't wait to see them.
After the photo shoot, we stayed so Rick could take a couple of pictures.
BTW, I got this outfit at one of my showers from Lina. Everyone said it was a picture taking outfit, and they were right!

fashionista

Maddie is very fashionable...

rockin and rollin

All of a sudden this weekend Madison has decided she likes to be up on her hands and knees. And then she rocks back and forth. I'm sure it will be a while still before she crawls, but she is getting started. We also decided to lower her crib one notch. I don't think she has noticed, but its a lot farther down for me to reach!

Waking up

Maddie has finally gotten to the point where she enjoys spending time on her tummy. This how I usually find her after her nap now.

Headstand

Madison has been doing this new thing where she looks like she is trying to do a headstand. I usually catch her doing it her crib. She puts her head down on the mattress and then sticks her butt in the air. I haven't been able to catch a picture yet. But I'll post it once I do.

Sitting up!

Maddie is pretty much sitting up on her own these days. She is still a little wobbly, hence the pillows. But most of the time she can hold her own.

its good to be back

After a month of no home computer, we finally are back online! I forgot about half the pictures we have taken in the last month because they have been sitting on the camera. (For those of you who don't know, our 2 year old I-Mac died, we had a warranty from Nebraska Furniture Mart, but its taken a month to get it replaced!).
So anyway, sorry for the picture overload. Be sure to check the older posts because I uploaded quite a few yesterday. And I'll try to be much better about updating. As you can see I tried to start this back in July, but didn't do too well. I promise to do better.
Enjoy!

Glamour shots

As you may be able to tell from these last few posts, Dad got a fancy new camera. So he has been taking some good photos of Maddie. Let's hope she gets good at smiling for the camera, becuase Dad is going to be sticking it her her face all the time.

Presents? For Me?

Madison is 6 months old as of Friday. So we brought up a bunch of presents that were too big for her until now. She is not sure about most of them yet. But I'm sure she'll figure it out soon. If not, Sadie would be happy to play with them.
We went to the doctor on Friday. She is 26 in. tall which is average (50th percentile) but she is only 15 lbs which is only 30th percentile.
She is petite! Takes after her mom ;)
Also, who knew we'd have a blue-eyed redhead.

Another Friday afternoon

Dad came home early from work and caught us in the front yard again.

Last day of the season

Maddie wore her baby blue in honor of the last Royals game this year. Hopefully she can wear her Royals gear longer next year. (Yeah, I know I'm dreaming.)

I want that hat!

Madison loves Dad's hats. So she got to wear one. Plus her outfit is just too cute.

Another beautiful day...

Maddie and I on the deck while dad mows...

Typical Friday

On Fridays, Madison, Sadie and I like to hang out in the front yard and play.
I love the pic of Maddie & Sadie.

kissing cousins

Renny, Brian and Luke came for a visit. Luke was a little jealous when Renny was holding Maddie.

I got my hairs cut!

We finally cut Madison's hair!

Sadie is soooo happy!

Our first trip to the dog park since Madison came along.

Another first...

Ruffle pants

Dad gave Madison a new hairdo.

First real meal

Our first venture into veggies. Sweet potatoes. They still seem to be a favorite.
