On April 22nd, Parker turned 2. I can't believe its been 2 years already! Time really does go faster and faster. For his party we went to Wichita to celebrate with his Post cousins. We all went the zoo for the morning, including Baby Mallory. And then went back to Mom and Dad's for lunch and cake. We got him a Woody and Buzz cake which he thought was the best thing ever.
Parker is doing amazing things at 2. He knows all his colors, the basic shapes, he can count to 12, he knows the words to Twinkle Twinkle, Wheels on the Bus, Itsy Bitsy spider, and he knows the ABC song. I made a list of word he knew at Christmas and stopped at 80 because I couldn't keep up. And now he is talking in full sentences.
Just after his birthday he started getting interested in his Letters. He knows P for Parker. And then he knows S,M,R,A and C but he knows whose letter then are (S for Grandpa Scott, M for Madison, R for Rick, A for Amy, C for Colin). The letters started because he has a Woody and Buzz blanket he sleeps with at night that Space Cowboyz and somehow we started talking about the letters in Space.
On a funny note, he can't say Isaac so he calls him Psychic. Parker likes to see Baby Mallory but he does not like it when Mommy holds her. He is still very attached to Mommy but is starting to wonder more. And he is still really shy when he first meets new people or someone he hasn't seen for a while. He is also wants to do everything himself, except go potty. He thinks Madison and Daddy are the funniest thing ever and has an awesome belly laugh. And he loves to be outside playing as much as his older sister does. And he is the best hugger :)
We are really enjoying watching this little boy grow.

Madison 6 years
Its hard to believe my little girl just turned 6 years old. She has grown into an amazing, beautiful, stubborn, brilliant girl who never ceases to amaze me. She is in afternoon Kindergarten and her class started at 10, but we are down to 7 kids. She is doing very well in school. She is reading and is excellent at math. She still asks a million questions and falls asleep most nights in less than 5 minutes. She has big ears and hears everything. And I can't even spell in front of her without her guessing what I said. She has been doing Gymnastics and really liked it until it got hard (more training and less games). She has also been doing dance again, although I had to talk her into the last session so we'll see if that continues. For her birthday we got her a wardrobe closet for her American Girl Doll and she loves organizing her doll's clothes. She still loves wearing dresses and anything fancy. And she really wants a pair of high heels. She loves to read which makes me so happy! I'm excited about reading chapter books with her. We finally talked her into watching the movie Brave for her birthday and now she loves it and it isn't scary at all. (she won't watch most movies right now because they are scary, even the ones she has seen a million times.) She is mostly a great big sister. She is a little rough with Parker but we keep telling her he is going to bigger than her one of these days. My favorite thing is when they play together or she makes him laugh. So sweet. I'm excited to see what the next year holds for her.
Here I go again..
So I know its been over a year since I've been on here. And I know if I don't get back I won't remember anything because I have the worst memory ever. So I'm going to make a new attempt to be a better blogger. But the photos slow me down and make it hard. So I'm going to try to be write more and add photos less. And I'm going to apologize in advance because I'm not a good writer (as you can tell). So here goes nothing.
