pigtails
So the one picture is Madison being mad at me because I was trying to take a picture instead of paying attention to her. The next is a few minutes later when she was perfectly happy. The point of the pictures is really the pigtails. She actually left them in for quite a while.
dinner with carrie and craig
I forgot to tell everyone to check out Carrie and Craig's blog. Its the Lindeman Life blog on our list. We went over for dinner last week and Craig took some great pictures of Maddie.
another trip to the zoo
We decided we needed one last trip to the zoo. Saturday looked like our best bet. It ended up being overcast which was nice, but it was pretty sticky. Right before we got to the lion's area, we heard him roaring. He was up on the rock for everyone to see. Madison then showed us how she roars. We also saw the frogs and snakes for the first time. She thought they were pretty cool.
present in the mail
Madison got a present in the mail from Aunt Renny and Cousin Luke. She loves the hat, although she also loved playing with the box and tissue.
exploration place
Thursday morning Mom and I took Madison to Exploration Place. They have a toddler area that Madison loved. She played in the water table forever and got soaking wet. The rocking horse only lasted a little while becuase it was close to the water table. She loved the train ride. Its was like a roller coaster. And she thought the snake was really cool too.
new digs
I've been promsing pictures of the new house for a while, and I realized I don't have great pictures. I downloaded some off the real estate website, but they aren't very good. I took these before I knew that other pictures weren't so good.
Here is what I have. Living room, courtyard, kitchen and dining room. I'll take more pictures when we get moved in. Madison, Sadie, my parents and I are leaving Thursday night. The movers are supposed to be there Friday. Wish us luck in getting everything in the house. Not having a basement will be interesting! Oh and we will be painting the wood panelling asap.

Happy Birthday Grandma!
Madison and I took Grandma to lunch for her birthday yesterday. When Grandpa got home he took these pics of us.
new shoes
Madison found the shoes that Grandma and Grandpa gave her for her birthday. She decided she had to wear them all day.
naked time
Madison has had a bad rash for a while, so the doctor suggested naked time. Monday night we set up the pool and let her run naked. She loved it!
carissa and emaline
Carissa and Emaline came to visit us on Sunday before we left KC. It was great to see them both and see how big Emaline is getting. Madison had fun chasing Emaline around the living while she pushed herself in the car.
weekend in KC
Last weekend we went to KC to visit Grandame and Grandad Dave, to see Spencer's new house, and to celebrate my mom's and Rick's birthday. Rick flew in from Dallas and we had a great weekend. Madison loved the hammock and all the statues in the backyard. This is also the outfit Grandame and Grandad gave her for her birthday. Goes great with those blue eyes.
car cart
We went to Dillions for some grocery shopping last week and tried the car cart out. Madison loved it so much she cried when put her in the car.
ponytails and curls
A picture of Madison's first ponytail. It lasted all of 30 seconds. And I had to get a pics of all the curls.
butterfly outfit
Madison would not let me put on the outfit I picked out this morning. She insisted on the butterfly. And she would point to it anytime you ask her where it was.

dad's farewell
These are from the day that Rick left on the weekend of the 4th. Madison decided she wanted to get in the car too.
