My favorite toy

Madison is great at entertaining Parker and she can make him smile no matter what. When he starts getting fussy she'll sing to him, play peek-a-boo with him or dance for him. All make him giggle and smile.

Madison started her dance class again. Its amazing how much more coordinated she is this time around. She asks almost every day if its time for dance class. We'll see how she does at the recital!

New cousin!

One good thing about our vacation, Spencer and Sarah's baby decided to come the Wednesday before we went to Wichita, so our timing was good and we got to meet him! Colin Spencer Post was born Sept 7th. He was 6 lbs 9 oz which is only 2 oz less than Parker when he was born. But he seemed so little compared to Parker already. Welcome little one!

Spencer has setup a zip line in his backyard. And Madison thought it was the greatest thing ever.

Unsuccessful Vacation

In early September we went to Wichita. It was supposed to be for the week. We were going to do some fun things with Madison and have my parents do some babysitting. But Parker decided not to cooperate. He was sleeping from 7pm-7am and only eating once. But by the time we left he was getting up every 4 hours. He also decided a week or so before we went that he didn't want to eat from a bottle anymore. So we ended up coming home a few days early so we could get Parker back on schedule. We did manage to have some fun though.
We went to the Cosmosphere in Hutch one day. Including lunch at the Carriage Crossing.

Dad's Birthday

My dad's birthday is September 11th. And 10 years ago on Sept 11, he was home alone. I had just had surgery on my knee the day before so Mom was up in KC helping me. So for the 10th anniversary it was kind of fitting that the entire family plus kiddos were all home this year. Happy Birthday Dad!
Oh and yes, that is Issac grabbing a candle off the cake :)

sunset

Later that same night we were hanging out outside and the light was just right. So Rick grabbed the camera and tried to get Maddie to pose. And for once she didn't cooperate the way he wanted her too. Although I think this picture is pretty sweet.

OP Arboretum

At the first of September we had a beautiful weekend, so we took Rick to the OP Arboretum. The pictures of Madison in the grass are for my dad. And the last picture of Madison cracks me up because Maddie loves to pose for pictures.
