Fort Worth Zoo

Saturday morning we headed to Fort Worth to check out the Zoo. Much better than the Dallas Zoo. Lots of animals and a nice setup. Madison loved the white tiger and the lions. And she also loved the train ride back to the entrance. She was really mad when we had to get off.

More 2nd birthday party

After a few times on the slide, we started the party. First the pizza, then cake. Madison had me light the candle and blow it out 4 times. Then time for presents. There were so many that she had to play with some and then come back and open more. She got the golf clubs, a bubble machine, chalk, playdoh, puzzles, a glider airplane, a watering can, a really cute book that Ashley made on Shutterfly that has a picture of Madison on every page with the Sesame Street gang, and my mom finished her baby book. So much fun, she loved it.

2nd birthday party part 1

When Madison got home from the park she found all the ballons, which she loved. Then pretty soon after she found her new slide in the backyard. She couldn't get outside fast enough.

The parties begin

Friday afternoon after the arboretum we had the big birthday party. Ashley and Dad took Madison to the playground while Mom and I decorated and Rick got the balloons and pizza.

Dallas Blooms

After we picked up Ashley at the airport, we headed to the Arboretum. It was a perfect day and the flowers were amazing. They also had "Storybook houses" that different architecture firms and consulting firms designed. Some were very cool, some not so much. But Madison loved finding them. She was also rocking the baby legs and pigtails.

Friday morning we got going pretty early. We picked up Ashley at the airport at headed to the Arboretum. This picture if before we left the house. Madison wasn't quite awake yet.

The weekend of the 23rd my sister came in town for a wedding. So I talked my mom and dad into coming down as well so we could celebrate Madison's birthday. This pic is from Thursday night after Grandma and Grandpa had shown up.
